Location
We live near Los Angeles, California and in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Most of the time in Los Angeles however. I love the Internet, that has enabled us to live this lifestyle.

Personal
I am married to my wonderful wife Marieke (picture), since 2000. She is a creative inspirator. We are greatful to have three sons: Joep (6 y), Ciaran (5 y) and Pim (3 y). Ciaran is Steven’s (my brother) and Nilanthi’s son and we are happy that he can grow up in our family as his parents cannot take care of him. The boys are close in age and have already travelled quite a bit depite their young ages.
I like to ski, swim, tennis, read inspiring (business) books and play computer games, but haven’t done so in a while ;-)

History
I used to work for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines as an airline pilot for eight years. I was a frequent flyer without the miles and that’s exactly why I quit my job ;-)
As an entrepreneur I enjoy the freedom of choice and my personal growth.
